Yayy my app has been launched! I'm so proud of it hehe. If you're interested in supporting me and giving your phone creepy cute vibes, please check it out at the Google Play store. Also let me know if it's buggy at all or if you have any other questions. I'm already working on another set based on a less spooky aesthetic so we'll see! Whenever it's sunny out I'm so much more motivated to actually do stuff. It doesn't help that I live in a climate where most months are cold :( Despite living in a condo, I've planted my tomatoes, various herbs, sweatpea, borage, chamomile and clover on my balcony hehe. I had a pretty great yield of tomatoes and mint last year so hopefully that pans out again. I've added more links to my link page and am working on finally joining some pixel clubs!

Oof, almost a year since my last post... Well lots of exciting things have been happening, one of which is an app I've been working on with my boyfriend. It's a phone icon/theme pack which is based on the creepy cute aesthetic (of course). It's still in testing mode but will be released very soon so keep an eye out in the Google Play store for "Pastel Graveyard" which is the app name c: For now it's only available on Android but hopefully if all goes well, I'll see about getting something together for all the iphone users out there. Otherwise, I'm excited for the warm weather and have some fun travel plans later in the year which I'm really looking forward to!

I've moved into my new place and have been slowly working on making it my own. It's pretty great having the freedom to do whatever I want without having a landlord hovering over my head. I just hate the stainless steel appliances so I found someone online that did peel and stick wallpaper on her fridge which looks awesome so I am considering it! In other news, my webhost of many years shut down (webs.com) and I switched to Hostinger which hopefully doesn't shut down any time soon. Thanks for all your sweet comments in the tagboard!

I got to tick a box off on my bucket list last weekend- I hung out with a sloth! Even booped her on the nose and everything ;_; It was incredible and they are such a flipping joy to look at and interact with- the epitome of chill. I got really inspired and am making some cute pixel sloths so keep an eye out for those soon :D I'm also halfway through my UX design course and this segment is really kicking my ass (wireframing & prototyping) but I actually do enjoy it.
In other news, I've been getting some real fomo watching all these pixel artists on neocities make these community projects like the teacup and the sticker one! I keep telling myself to join, but I can't commit to one idea for the designs so literally that's holding me back, ugh. I am seriously so overjoyed that this aspect of the pixel art/personal website aspect is coming back. Love you guys for keeping it alive C:

I'm getting ready to move into my new condo which I bought 2 years ago; it has been in the process of being built since. Well it's not going to be move-in ready until Spring but that isn't stopping me from buying furniture and other housewares, hehe. I'm going for a modern deco-goth-eclectic decor style, which is different from my usual just minimalist goth vibe. Think moody walls, updated 50s furniture, black panther coffee table, neon signs, big statement paintings. I was actually inspired by American Horror Story: Hotel, and the hotel suite which Lady Gaga's character lives in, although I'm going a bit more maximalist.
In other news, I've been collecting these blind box toys by Shinwoo x Finding Unicorn and I am obsessed! They're these little ghost bears and there are different themes with each new collection... I dream of having f-you money someday and just spending it on dumb stuff like this. Here's my latest one. I love him so much!

I got one of my wishlist plants yesterday, the false shamrock (oxalis)! Super stoked about it - just need to get a pretty pot for him. I spent like 2 hours going down a Neocities website spree. It's crazy how much the personal website thing has taken off! I had the day off work today cuz I did something weird to my back so I've been working on some kewl new pixel art <:

So... long time no update! I get swept away by real life so easily and forget to delve back into creative, fun stuff so often now. I hate it. I will have to force myself to update appledust at least like, once a month, just like I force myself to work out or floss, lolz. Hence why I decided to make a little journal thingy to write stuff in. I haven't added any new content for you guys but I did update my music player which was hella pissing me off since it didn't match the rest of my aesthetic so thank you to my dear bf for that.
Umm, I've also been doing some cool shirt designs featuring pixel art so hopefully I can get those up on the shop soon. Also been kinda obsessed with neopets lately?? Anyway, that's it for now. Thx for all the lovely notes in the guestbook btw :)
